Jill Glassbrook graduated from Indiana University with degrees in English and Gender Studies, and attended Seton Hall University where she received a masters in Education – Curriculum Design and Technology. Jill began teaching preschool teacher, and went on to join AmeriCorps to launch a wrap-around and mentoring program for incarcerated teenagers. Jill then joined TFA where she taught in Newark, New Jersey as a self-contained behavior disorders teacher for students in grades 4-6. After, she came to Brooklyn as the Director of Special Services and then Dean of Students at Achievement First Bushwick Middle School. After 4 years, Jill joined PAVE as founding MS Principal. She now works with all of PAVE’s schools in grades PK-8. Jill lives in Brooklyn with her husband, 2 dogs, and twins, Theo and Liddy.
