Jill Glassbrook graduated from Indiana University with degrees in English and Gender Studies, and went on to attend Seton Hall University where she received her masters in Education – Curriculum Design and Technology. Jill began her career as a preschool teacher, and went on to join AmeriCorps to launch a wrap-around and mentoring program for incarcerated teenagers. Jill then joined Teach for America where she taught in Newark, New Jersey as a self-contained behavior disorders teacher for students in grades 4-6. After this, she came to Brooklyn as the Director of Special Services and then Dean of Students at Achievement First Bushwick Middle School. After 4 years, Jill joined the PAVE team as the founding MS Principal. She now works with leaders, teachers, and students across all of PAVE’s schools in grades PK-8. Jill lives in Brooklyn with her husband, 2 dogs, and twins, Theo and Liddy.
